This project centres on the transformation of the full refurbishment of a mid-terrace Victorian townhouse in London E17, featuring a side and rear kitchen extension alongside a substantial loft conversion.

The ground-floor extension creates a spacious, light-filled kitchen and dining area that forms the social heart of the home, opening directly to the garden to enhance natural light and family living. Above, the loft conversion provides valuable additional bedrooms and flexible accommodation, ensuring the house can adapt to the needs of an expecting family as it grows.

The design balances contemporary interventions with sensitivity to the historic character of the Victorian fabric, using complementary materials and detailing to unify old and new. The result is a modern, functional and enduring home that strengthens both everyday living and long-term adaptability.
