Rear extension

Loft conversion

Full internal refurbishment

This design presents the transformation of a detached 1920s house in Radlett through a full internal refurbishment, complemented by a full-length rear kitchen extension and a substantial loft conversion.

The new ground-floor extension delivers a spacious, light-filled kitchen and dining area that becomes the central hub of family life, opening onto the garden to enhance indoor-outdoor living.

Above, the loft has been reimagined to create a large master suite with generous proportions, offering privacy and comfort while maximising the home’s potential.

Throughout the project, the interior has been carefully modernised with contemporary finishes and detailing, while retaining the character of the original house to create a balanced dialogue between old and new.

Designed to meet the needs of a growing family, the scheme combines functionality, comfort, and style, resulting in a home that is both timeless and future-ready.
